Review from BOOK BIT: Doc Kirby, WTBF-AM/FM, Troy, AL
Stephen Kogon's "Max Mooth--Cyber Sleuth and the Case of the Zombie Virus," published by iUniverse.
This is a very clever story! Max is 19 years old and brilliant (albeit somewhat socially challenged) and his best friend is a brilliant 8-year-old kid named Mr. Z. They've got 60 hours to discover who has planned to launch the Zombie Virus and blame it on Max.
Enjoying a favorite snack of pudding, Max designs weird gadgets and comes up with bizarre disguises and "unorthodox " detective methods.
Along the way, Max may have his first girlfriend Abby, related to one of his elderly neighbors (who all just adore ole Max). Unfortunately for Max Mooth, a former college rival (Xefland Aurcracker) DOESN'T adore old Max, and that's who is trying to pin the Zombie Virus on him AND steal his girl!
I'm looking forward to the next installment in the Max Mooth saga! But until then, don't miss "The Case of the Zombie Virus" by Stephen Kogon from iUniverse.
